In 2007, at age 12, became the first woman in history to become eligible for the US Women's Open. She did not win the event, but she was able to win the Aldila Junior Classic in the following year, making her the second. She was the smallest American Junior Golf Association player (AJGA), as well being the smallest player to win the Westfield Junior PGA Championship at the time.
